Casa Yaque Familiar Group provides tourist accommodation services in Old Havana, Cuba, through three apartments: Casa Yaque, Casa Violeta and Casablanca Yaque. 1. Privacy Policy

1.1 Who is responsible
The controller of the personal data collected through casayaque.com is World Broker Services LLC, as site operator, in cooperation with Casa Yaque Familiar Group, accommodation provider in Old Havana, Cuba. Contact: formulario seguro de contacto.
1.2 Data we collect
- Booking data: name, email, phone, check-in and check-out dates, number of guests, chosen house, comments.
- Payment data: the 25% deposit is processed through Stripe; we do NOT store full card details. We only receive confirmation, last 4 digits and name.
- Communication data: content of the messages you send us by form, email, WhatsApp or SMS.
- Technical data: IP, browser, language, pages visited (server logs and strictly necessary cookies).
1.3 Purposes
- Process and confirm your booking, charge the deposit and communicate with you before/during/after the stay.
- Comply with the guest registration required by the Cuban authorities.
- Customer service and incident resolution.
- Site improvement and security.
1.4 Legal basis
We process your data based on performance of the accommodation contract, the consent you give when submitting the form, compliance with applicable legal obligations and our legitimate interest in protecting and improving the service.
1.5 Who we share information with
- Payment processor (Stripe) — exclusively to charge the deposit.
- Hosting and email providers (IONOS, etc.) — processors acting under our instructions.
- Cuban authorities — mandatory guest registration.
- U.S. or other competent authorities — only if a court order or valid legal requirement so demands.
We do not sell, rent or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
1.6 Retention
We keep data associated with a booking for seven (7) years from the end of the stay, to comply with accounting, tax and legal obligations. Contact form data is deleted after 12 months if it does not result in a booking.
1.7 Your rights (GDPR / equivalent)
At any time you may:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Request correction or update.
- Request deletion, unless a legal obligation prevents us from doing so.
- Object to processing or request restriction.
- Receive your data in portable format.
- Withdraw consent (this does not affect the validity of prior processing).

1.8 Security
HTTPS encrypted connection, password-protected access to the admin panel + anti-bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), CSRF on all forms, database encryption at rest by the hosting provider. No system is absolutely secure.
1.9 Minors
We do not knowingly collect data from minors under 13. Every booking must be made by a responsible adult.
1.10 International transfers
We operate from the United States and provide the service in Cuba; your data may be transferred and processed outside your country. We apply appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses, certified processors).
1.11 Changes
We may update this Policy. The current version is the one published at this URL. We recommend reviewing it periodically.

2.1 The parties
By using casayaque.com or booking with us you accept these Terms. The parties are:
- Site operator: World Broker Services LLC.
- Site maintained with: CitAnza (citanza.com).
- Accommodation provider: Casa Yaque Familiar Group, Old Havana, Cuba.
- Single contact channel: formulario seguro de contacto.
2.2 The service
We offer tourist accommodation in three properties in Old Havana: Casa Yaque (Aguiar 527), Casa Violeta (Sol 161) and Casablanca Yaque (Santa Clara 164), with a total of 12 rooms.
2.3 Booking and payment
- The booking is made via form on casayaque.com.
- To confirm it a 25% deposit of the total amount is required, processed online through Stripe, in USD.
- The remaining 75% is paid in USD cash on arrival, before check-in. No other currencies are accepted unless expressly agreed in writing.
- Prices shown are in USD per room and per night and include the services indicated.
2.4 Cancellations
By the guest
The 25% deposit is non-refundable for cancellations made less than 48 hours before check-in. For earlier cancellations we will assess case by case if there is availability to reschedule the dates.
By Casa Yaque
If due to force majeure (hurricanes, authority restrictions, property damage, etc.) we are unable to provide the service, we offer relocation to one of our other houses (subject to availability) or full refund of the deposit.
2.5 Check-in and check-out
Usual check-in from 2:00 PM local Cuba time, check-out until 11:00 AM. Different times subject to availability.
2.6 House rules
- The accommodation may not be used for illegal activities.
- Smoking inside the rooms is not allowed.
- Pets are not allowed unless previously agreed.
- Receiving unregistered persons requires prior authorisation.
- Respect neighbours' rest between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
The guest is responsible for damage caused to the property or furnishings beyond ordinary wear and tear.
2.7 Documentation
For the mandatory guest registration with the Cuban authorities, you must present a valid passport and, where applicable, visa or tourist card.
2.8 Optional services
Airport pickup, breakfast, dinners and tours are contracted separately, with rates stated at the time of booking or on arrival.
2.9 Limitation of liability
- The service is provided "as is"; we do not guarantee total absence of errors or site interruptions.
- We are not liable for loss or damage to guests' personal items except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
- We are not liable for services provided by third parties (transport, restaurants, tours) contracted through or on our recommendation.
Total liability shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the guest for the affected booking.
2.10 Intellectual property
Texts, images, logos and site code are property of Casa Yaque Familiar Group, World Broker Services LLC, CitAnza or their respective owners. Use without authorisation is prohibited.
2.11 Applicable law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. For disputes that cannot be resolved amicably, the parties submit to the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.

3.1 Summary
SMS program operator: World Broker Services LLC, in cooperation with Casa Yaque Familiar Group.
3.2 Geographic scope
The SMS service is available only for United States (+1) and Canada (+1) phone numbers. If your phone number belongs to another country (Spain, Cuba, Mexico, Italy, Germany, France, etc.), we will not send SMS: we will contact you via WhatsApp and/or email, which are free internationally and more reliable outside North America.
3.3 Opt-in (consent)
Even if your number is from USA or Canada, we only send SMS if you explicitly tick the acceptance box on the booking form. That box is NOT pre-checked. Without explicit opt-in, we send no SMS.
3.4 Message types
- Transactional: booking confirmation, check-in reminders, arrival instructions.
- Customer service: replies to your inquiries if you contacted us by SMS or WhatsApp.
We do not send marketing SMS.
3.5 Frequency
Maximum 2 SMS per booking: one confirmation after the deposit and one reminder before check-in.
3.6 Costs
Carrier rates may apply (Message and data rates may apply). Casa Yaque does not charge for sending the message.
3.7 Opt-out
To stop receiving SMS reply with the word STOP to the number from which you received the message (BAJA, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE also work). You will receive a final confirmation and no further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe. Opt-out does not affect other channels (email, WhatsApp).
3.8 Help
Reply HELP (or AYUDA) to the SMS, or write to formulario seguro de contacto.
3.9 Number privacy
Your phone number is processed according to our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or transfer your number to third parties for commercial purposes.
3.10 Carriers
The service works with mobile carriers in the United States and Canada that support standard SMS. Carriers and intermediate providers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
